They are super busy, but the staff is still attentive and friendly and really try their best to give you good service. You order at the table. Food took some time to arrive, which is understandable considéring the volume. I got a double portion of duck meat, some dried beadcurd, and dry kwayteow noodles. It also comes served with herbal soup. I thought the herbal soup was so-so. But the duck was really great. Good flavour, good portion size. The beancurd and noodles I found to be too oily. I think this meal was really worth it, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Everything came up to RM26, which I felt was not a bad deal at all.

Whenever I visit relatives in JB, they take me here to get my fill of the most delicious, succulent braised duck, accompanied by two types of noodles, braised tofu & egg, braised pork belly, mei-Cai (preserved Chinese veges), duck soup and water chestnut + bamboo sugar cane drink. This is the best duck noodle place in town!

This is clearly a very popular place, often bustling with crowds, but also they are understaffed to handle the huge volume of customers. The atmosphere and vibe is lively, but the long queues and extended waiting times for both service and food can really test your patience. I tried their 粿条汤卤味, which included braised duck instead of the typical pork and internal organs commonly found in this common dish. The soup was flavorful, and the ingredients were well-prepared, clearly catering and captured the local Johorian palate. The taste was good but not entirely to my liking—perhaps because I’m an outstation visitor and less accustomed to the specific flavors targeted at locals. Despite the long wait, the prices here are incredibly affordable, which makes the experience feel worthwhile to some extent. The meal felt like a fair trade-off for the time spent waiting, especially for those who enjoy authentic, hearty local dishes. The service, while friendly, was understandably rushed due to the overwhelming crowd. It was hard to feel fully attended to, given the understaffing issues. Oddly, I’m unsure whether I’ll revisit this place. While the food quality and price point are commendable, the long wait and flavors not matching my personal preferences leave me hesitant to return.

Lunch time is overcrowded, waited close to 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Anyway, glad to wait, the food is delicious!

Non halal Chinese restaurant specializes on braised duck. They have braised pork intestines, pork belly and taukua as well. They also serves spicy sour vege. The food is slightly salty so it’s best paired with a bowl of rice . Their special chili sauce is also a must. Highly recommended to eat together with the braised duck meat. Really delicious the boss & staff very friendly as well. Don’t forget to order their special soup too.

What we ordered (all portions for 1pax or small) Duck meat Pig skin Pig ears Braised egg Braised tofu Braised pork Kway teow soup Value for the price, well seasoned and marinated meats, strongly encourage ordering small portions to enjoy a larger variety.

Nice food if you like duck. I have been visit here many times. Price is reasonable and they provide small portion order for 2 people so food is not wasted. Highly recommend for tourist visit to Johor Bahru.

Not bad not bad. Worth to come. Food is nice. Due to our weather, the place gets stuffy and airconditioner was not turned on when we were there. Parking can be a pain if you come during peak hours
